“Fashion is an external expression of the spirit; the body is the dimensional canvas and the fabric/garment is the expressive artwork.”

Sasha’s collection: "Pop Antoinette: Sex, Money, and Cake." It's originally inspired by a Marie Antoinette movie poster. The movie itself inspired the quote (sex, money, cake).

There are neon pop styles from the 80’s (geometric, slightly masculine, big shoulders, neon colors) mixed with rococo style (lace and trim details, soft silhouettes, squared extended hips in skirt, brocades, and feminine colors). Marie Antoinette's most famous costume of today is of her in a blue dress with a squared petticoat and a row of pink bows along center front. This inspired the color story.

What excites you most about Fusion? Seeing the end result if all the gorgeous collections and basking in the excitement of the audience.
